We've begun some work linked to 'Coming Home' by Michael Morpurgo.
Here's what 4CY did on their first day studying the book:
Words to describe what 'home' is like. These were written before we read the book.
After the book had been read, the children chose words to describe the robin's journey.
In less than 140 characters, the children wrote a review of the story.
The book was good because it has a happy ending. Also, I
like animals. It is well written and good to listen to. It was good. Mattis

of action and was very exciting. You did not know what was going to happen

like the scary bits.
I like the book because the author used a lot of detail and
