Roman oil lamp workshops
Year Four were delighted to host the parents of 4MR and 4MH this afternoon at our Roman oil lamp workshops. Last week all of the Year Four children had learned how to make an oil lamp from clay and this week it was their turn to pass on their new skills to their parents. We were really pleased that so many parents and grandparents accepted our invitation and in a few weeks, after the lamps have been fired in our kiln, they will be available to take home.
